Slone’s passion for massage therapy was sparked early in life when he discovered the power of touch through massaging family members, witnessing firsthand how it alleviated discomfort and improved their well-being. Later, while studying business management at Clayton State University, an entrepreneurship class inspired him and his classmates to create a mock business where he provided massages on campus while the team managed marketing and finances. This experience solidified his interest in pursuing massage therapy as a career.
After earning his bachelor’s degree, Slone attended the Atlanta School of Massage, graduating in 2018. Since then, he has worked in diverse environments, including spa franchises, mobile massage, medical spas, corporate chair massage, private events, sports settings, and even a season with the Legends Football League (LFL). He also returned to the Atlanta School of Massage as a clinic supervisor and instructor, sharing his knowledge and guiding the next generation of therapists.
One of Slone’s greatest professional influences is Don Myers of The Body Mechanics. Don’s expertise in balancing the hips, pelvis, and center of gravity, along with his experience working with Olympians and Atlanta’s professional sports teams, profoundly shaped Slone’s approach to massage therapy. These insights have enhanced his ability to work with athletes and clients seeking improved performance and recovery.
Now with six years of experience as a licensed massage therapist, Slone specializes in deep tissue therapy, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, and assisted stretching. His goal is to help clients improve mobility, reduce pain, alleviate muscle tension, and increase their range of motion, always tailoring his techniques to meet each individual’s needs.
Outside of work, Slone enjoys cooking, spending time with his family, and bowling, finding joy and balance in these simple pleasures.
